Lieutenant Casey Grant

The Make-A-Wish Foundation made a spectacular event happen for a special young man name Casey Grant. Arrangements were made by the Foundation with the Maine State Police, Waterville Fire-Rescue, Waterville Police, and Delta Ambulance to assist with making a young childs dream come true.

Casey who is 8 years old looks up to Firefighters and Police Officers and the Make-A-Wish Foundation thought that we may want to help out. The Make-A-Wish Foundation and emergency service personnel worked together creating a day of days for Casey Grant and his family.

On December 18th 2004 members of the Maine State Police picked up Casey at his house and transported him to Applebees in Waterville. From there, members of the City of Watervilles Fire, Police, and Delta Ambulance arrived in full response to pick Casey up from a luncheon with his family and deliver him to Central Fire where a small party was held. During the party Chief William Page bestowed the honor upon Casey of Honorary Fire Lieutenant and presented Casey with a certificate and Lieutenants fire helmet.
